Who we are
The Body Project Dancers is a project of The Body Project Gloucestershire, based at the University of Gloucestershire. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the University is the data controller. You can reach us at info@thebodyprojectdancers.org.
What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact details you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and organisation.
- The content of any messages you send us.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver the programme, and improve how we work. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Lawful basis
Where you contact us, we rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you. Any data gathered as part of the research element of the project is handled separately under the University's ethics and research-governance procedures, with its own consent process.
Sharing your information
We will only share your information within the immediate project team and the University where necessary. We will not pass it to third parties except where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We hold your information only for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us, and in line with the University's records-retention policy, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, please email us.
Age restrictions
Our research intervention and website are strictly intended for individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from someone under 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or analytics.
